Location
Red Lodge is roughly halfway between Newmarket and Mildenhall, on the western edge of Suffolk in the district of Forest Heath. The expansion of Red Lodge has been planned for many years, part of which is the new development at Kings Warren, to the east of the existing village. Kings Warren is accessed from Warren Road, which leads directly to the A11/B1085 junction. Outline planning permission has been granted for 1250 new homes, plus business land, sports facilities, a primary school and a new village centre on the land nearest the existing village, and plans are now being prepared for more new homes to the east of Kings Warren.
